Money, prices & shops

The currency used in the Czech Republic is the Czech koruna. It is recommended to withdraw money from ATMs in case you want to use cash. Supermarkets are usually open every day, but smaller stores may be closed on Sundays.

Data And Power

If you are coming from an EU country, roaming prices do not apply in the Czech Republic. Free Wi-Fi spots can be found at train stations, restaurants, and hotels. If you need continuous access, you can purchase a prepaid SIM card from any of the mobile operators. Don't forget Czechs use Type C and E power sockets!
